Q: What type of phone do I need to download and use the GTI TAXI app?

A: The GTI TAXI app is compatible with phones and tablets that run on either an Android or iOS (iPhone and iPad) operating system.


Q: How much does it cost to use the GTI TAXI app?

A: It doesn't cost anything as you can download it for free on the App Store or Google Play. Using the app is cost-free as well.


Q: I asked for a taxi but no results came up.

A: First, check if you have a good internet connection and make sure your GPS receiver is turned on. Another reason could be that there is no taxi available in and around the area you are located. You should also keep in mind that if you are inside a building and are not connected to a Wi-Fi network, there may be problems with your GPS positioning. By connecting your device to a Wi-Fi network, you can improve and even eliminate the risks of not being precisely located.


Q: In what cities can I order a taxi using the GTI TAXI app?

A: The GTI TAXI app was simultaneously launched in 24 cities from Romania and can be used by taxi drivers as well as clients. The app is available in the following cities: Bucuresti, Arad, Bacau, Baia Mare, Braila, Brasov, Buzau, Cluj Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Drobeta Turnu Severin, Focsani, Galati, Iasi, Oradea, Piatra Neamt, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Ramnicu Valcea, Sibiu, Suceava, Targu Jiu, Targu Mures, Timisoara.


Q: I'm a taxi driver and I want to use the app. I completed all the fields in the application but my account is not yet active. Why?

A: For an account to become active, you have to upload the required information and images in the application. If the information submitted is incomplete or you did not provide the required documents, the account will not be activated. To make sure you have an active account, please provide us with a valid email address and if you already have, please check and see if you have received a message from us.


Q: What data can be accessed regarding the driver and the car before placing an order?

A: When one or more taxi drivers answer an order placed by the client, you have access to the following information: the driver's photo (up to the driver's choice at registration), his name, the company he is assigned to for dispatcher services, price per km, the approximate time of arrival, the driver's rating and feedback from other clients.


Q: Can I cancel an order after it was accepted by the driver?

A: You can, but only in justifiable circumstances. Our recommendation is to call the driver. You can cancel 3 orders per week.


Q: Can a driver cancel an order that he/she accepted?

A: He can, but only in extreme circumstances (flat tire, accident...) and has the obligation to inform the client.


Q: Can I turn off my phone after the order has been accepted by the driver?

A: You can. The order is not lost. You will receive a notification when the driver reaches the meeting place.
